What's the Difference?

"US religious broadcaster Pat Robertson urged the United States to assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, whom he called a "dangerous enemy," in an episode of his television show The 700 Club." as reported in todays SMH.
Pat Robertson is not only a "religious broadcaster " but an ex U.S. Presidential candidate and a minister of some "only in the U.S.A." Religious group. His comments were made because in Robertsons view, Chaves has too close a link to Fidel Castro and Arab Nations.
What a fucken good reason to crucify the cunt.
It makes me wonder if this is where George W Bush is getting his religious training from.
How is this fanatical view any different to some Muslim cleric preaching his version of religious vitriol?
I gave up religion when I left school but even I can remember that Christianity was founded on loving your neighbour and Thou shalt not kill. I even remember some biblical reference to not judging others as this is the duty of god or something similar.
But I suppose when you have someone like Pat Robertson who is not in it for "love of god" but to increase Pats stock portfolio and his ego then you can understand that these comments are designed to raise his public profile and maybe soon it won't be Rev. Robertson but Pres. Robertson in the near future.

Then watch out all you commie and Arab lovers President Pat will gitcha. All in the name of god and good television ratings
